NOTICE INVITING BIDS
Sealed bids are invited and will be received by the City of Omaha on the following project(s):
OPW 52783 (CSO)
Leavenworth Lift Station Flood Mitigation
Pre-Bid Meeting:  Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 1:30 PM at the Missouri River Water Resource Recovery Facility, 5600 S 10th Street, Omaha, NE  68107

   Complete digital project bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com.  You may download the digital plan documents for $20.00 by inputting Quest Project # 5958717 on the website's Project Search page.  Please contact QuestCDN.com at (952) 233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in free membership registration, downloading, and working with this digital project information.
   Alternately, project documents on CD-ROM will be available for $50.00 (non-refundable) per set which includes shipping.  Make your check payable to City of Omaha and sent to Public Works Department, Attention:  Bid Document Request,  Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street STE 600, Omaha, NE  68183.
   All bidders are required to comply with the Omaha Contract Compliance Program.  Details of this program are incorporated in the bid documents.
   Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC-1 - Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, and must be on file in her office, on or before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 for opening in public in LC-4, Omaha-Douglas Civic Center at the above time and date.
   As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid.  City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.

BID OPENING DATE: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018
   Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the opening time, as per specifications on file in the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Agent.  These documents may also be found at www.douglascountypurchasing.org.

   City of Omaha – DOG PARK CONSTRUCTION
Bid Opening Date:  11:00 A.M.  on:   Wednesday, October 3, 2018
Sealed bids for the renovation/ construction of the DOG PARK CONSTRUCTION, 550 Turner Blvd, Omaha, NE 68105 are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, as per the project’s specifications.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked “BID ON:  City of Omaha – DOG PARK CONSTRUCTION”, must be in her office on or before 11:00 A.M. on the bid opening date at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.

General Contractor shall self-perform with its own workforce a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the Contract.  Purchasing of materials does not qualify as self-performing the Work.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid.  The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”.  Failure to do so will be cause for rejection.  City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
