Nebraska Business Hall Of Fame To Induct New Members
LINCOLN — The Nebraska Business Hall of Fame is poised to get a new wave of inductees.
Set to join the distinguished group of business leaders: Sid Dinsdale, Pinnacle Bancorp Inc., Lincoln; Lance Fritz, Union Pacific Railroad Co., Omaha; Hornady Family, represented by Steve and Jason, Hornady Manufacturing Co., Grand Island.
The 2024 annual hall of fame reception and banquet is scheduled for Feb. 1 at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel, following the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual meeting. Registration is required.
Bryan Slone of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry says honorees are some of the most impactful business leaders in the state.
“Their innovative aspirations, grit and business success is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Slone. “They have also made remarkable contributions to their communities and the entire state.”
The hall of fame currently includes more than 135 business people whose work to grow business in Nebraska has made a significant impact on the state’s economy, overall job opportunities and quality of life, organizers of the event say. Candidates are nominated by individuals in the business community, business associations and academia.
The hall of fame program was established in 1992 by the Chamber and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business.
