Nebraska’s Slowed Down Less Than All Other States, Based on Analysis of Google Data
Washington – A report concluded that Nebraska has slowed down the least in the United States under social distancing restrictions.
The report, compiled by personal finance website WalletHub, used Google data to compare states on six metrics related to change in visits to different types of places.
Nebraskans ranked 49th in visits to grocery stores, pharmacies and transit stations. The state was 46th for changes to workplaces and 44th for retail and recreation mobility.
The state’s largest impact, compared to other states using Google data, was in visits to parks, where Nebraska ranked 43rd, and residential mobility, which was 38th.
