NATA Selects 2019-20 Officers, Directors

The Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys selected a slate of new officers during its annual meeting held Friday, Sept. 13.
At the meeting, personal injury attorney Jason Ausman of Omaha became NATA president. Andrew Sibbernsen of Omaha became president-elect, while Brock Wurl of North Platte became secretary and Todd Bennett of Lincoln was selected as the new treasurer.
Selected to serve three-year terms as NATA directors were:
• Greg Coffey of Lincoln
• Steve Gerdes of Omaha
• Aaron Brown of Omaha
• Joe Dowding of Lincoln
• Nancy Freburg of Kearney
• Dan Fiedman of Lincoln
• Matt Knowles of Omaha
• Kyle Long of Scottsbluff
• Jeff Putnam of Omaha
• Adam Tabor of Omaha
Coffey will represent District 1, Gerdes will represent District 2 and the rest are serving at-large.
NATA also held its fall seminar, titled “Practice Pointers: The Future in Representing Those in Need,” concurrent with the annual meeting in Omaha.
Sessions included daily ethics, the role of trauma, computer animation, whistleblower cases, technology and legal aspects of telehealth.
