Marcum Releases Tax Guide for First Year Under TCJA
New York – Marcum LLP recently released its 2019 Year-End Tax Guide, a 54-page annual review discusses the first tax filing year under the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA).
The report highlights 15 aspects of tax reform and its impact on individual and business taxpayers, including choice of entity under TCJA, research and development tax credits, opportunity zones, the impact on real estate, gift and estate tax changes, updates for tax-exempt organizations and state and local tax deductions.
Diane Giordano, a tax partner and editor of the guide, said the changes to tax law have increased the complexity for entrepreneurs, business owners and executives.
