PUBLIC NOTICE

The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) seeks public comment on an amendment to its FY2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which will add funding for six regional transportation projects. The public comment period runs April 25, 2024, to May 2, 2024.

The six projects include:

•            City of Bellevue Cornhusker Road Corridor Study, 36th Street to Fort Crook Road - $100,000

•            Vehicle purchases for Nebraska agencies providing paratransit services - $539,551

•            Vehicle purchases for Iowa agencies providing paratransit services - $225,000

•            City of Council Bluffs 9th Avenue Bridge Replacement - $1,500,000

•            Iowa DOT lane striping along Interstate 29 from Missouri border to US 34 - $1,008,000

•            Iowa DOT lane striping along Interstate 680 from Missouri River to I-29 - $90,000
