Husch Blackwell’s Omaha Office Welcomes Three Attorneys

Husch Blackwell is pleased to welcome Jennifer Atwood, David Lopez and Brandon Warrington as associates in its Omaha office.

Atwood, a commercial litigator, assists clients and legal teams with pretrial matters of due diligence and discovery. She obtained her J. D. with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law and her B.A. from University of Miami, and she served a clerkship under The Hon. Cheryl R. Zwart, U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska.

Lopez, a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction group, comes to the firm after serving as Nebraska’s assistant attorney general and deputy solicitor general. He maintains a robust appellate practice, counseling clients through all stages of appeals including briefing and oral argument.  In addition to the firm’s Appellate practice, he is also a member of the Environmental, Government Compliance, Investigations & Litigation, Government Solutions, Litigation and Public Law practices. He earned his J.D. from University of Nebraska College of Law and his B.A. from University of Nebraska – Omaha.

Warrington is member of the firm’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities & Corporate Governance and Startups teams. He assists clients ranging from emerging-growth companies and startups to established national and international corporations with a variety of due diligence provisions and commercial contracts. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. summa cum laude from Creighton University.
