Holiday Magic Event Will Return to Downtown Ralston

Ralston’s annual Holiday Magic event is back in its traditional time on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
This year’s event is schedule for Sunday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m.
At 1 p.m., children’s activities start at Baright Public Library and will feature face painting, balloon twisting and the Carrell Towne Village Christmas display.
Starting at 4 p.m., Santa will make an appearance outside at Independence Square at 77th and Main streets, where he will be stationed in the gazebo and is reportedly eager to talk to “all the good boys and girls.”
Also starting at 4 p.m. will be a holiday lighting ceremony with Ralston Mayor Donald Groesser, a tree light contest, Christmas caroling with the Ralston Community Theatre, cookies, hot chocolate, candy canes, horse and carriage rides and a chili feed hosted by the Ralston Volunteer Fire Department.
