NOTICE OF ELECTION 

OF BOARD MEMBER FOR

VALLEY SUBURBAN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 5 

DOUGLAS COUNTY, NEBRASKA

Pursuant to the Valley Suburban Fire Protection District No. 5’s Procedure for Annual Election of Board of Directors Members (the “Procedure”), the District hereby gives notice that it will hold its annual meeting on September 23, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fire Station, 401 E Meigs Street, Valley, Nebraska. Voting for one open Board of Directors position will take place at such meeting.

Pursuant to the Procedure, all registered voters present at the annual meeting may vote, and voting for the Board of Directors position will begin at 6:00 p.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. All individuals must be in line at or by 7:00 p.m. to vote. Votes for write-in candidates will not be counted. Pursuant to Section 4 of the Procedure, Randy Egbarts and Brad Fricke were the nominations received.
