To whom it may concern: Report has been made by the County Board of Douglas County, Nebraska by the clerk of the district or county court of the county, which report shows that there is now and has been for the last six months remaining in the hands of the clerk/comptroller certain witness fees which have been uncalled for. If the fees are not called for within six months from July 11, 2023, they will be considered as forfeited and will be paid into the common school fund of Douglas County.

NOTICE OF HEARING REGARDING

HOSPITAL AUTHORITY NO. 1 OF

DOUGLAS COUNTY, NEBRASKA

Notice is hereby given that the Douglas County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Legislative Chamber of the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska, and will consider the petitions filed with the Douglas County Clerk on the 10th day of July, 2023, for reappointment and appointment to the Board of Trustees of Hospital Authority No. 1 of Douglas County, Nebraska.  Said petitions request consideration of the re-appointment of Marsha L. Moon, 9901 Florence Heights Blvd., Omaha, NE 68112 and the appointment of Marcia K. Shadle-Cusic, 8102 N. 47th Street, Omaha, NE 68152 and Stephen R. Shepherd, 4616 Gebe Street, Omaha, NE  68152 to Board of Trustees Hospital of Authority No. 1 of Douglas County, Nebraska, to serve until a successor is appointed and has qualified.

Notice is further given that at said hearing, any objections to the proposed trustees for re-appointment and appointment to the Board of Trustees of Hospital Authority No. 1 of Douglas County, Nebraska, will be heard by the Board of Commissioners.  Written objections from electors residing within the boundaries of Hospital Authority No. 1 may be filed with the Douglas County Clerk through July 26, 2023.
