NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Omaha Douglas Public Building Commission, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska will receive sealed proposals until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, for the Omaha Douglas Civic Center Garage Column Repair  #6909 in the Omaha Douglas Civic Center/Hall of Justice Complex, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. Specifications may be obtained by emailing steve.filipiak@odpbc.org, call 402-444-5345 or in the Office of the Administrator, 1819 Farnam Street, Suite 1205, Omaha, Nebraska. To reach the 12th floor of the Civic Center, take any Civic Center elevator to the 11th floor and the steps up to 12 or have the security officer at the Kiosk on Farnam Level call the one elevator that goes to the 12th floor. The Building Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. As evidence of good faith in submitting a proposal, the bidder must file with his proposal a bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of 5% of the bid. There is a mandatory prebid meeting and walkthrough on Thursday, June 15,, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. beginning in the Office of the Administrator. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 11, 2023.  A committee will review and evaluate all bids and may make recommendations to award the contract at the next meeting of the Omaha Douglas Public Building Commission, which is scheduled for Thursday July 13, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. Please use a sealed envelope in submitting your proposal and mark same ‘Omaha Douglas Civic Center Garage Column Repair #6909 for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
