The Metropolitan Community College at Do Space program at 7205 Dodge St. will host a free, public talk about renewable energy on July 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

Courtney Kennedy, alternative energy program manager at the OPPD, and Darren Dageforde, ex­ecutive director of utility and en­ergy optimization at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, will discuss renewable energy and how Nebraskans can make a difference.
