REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

 

The City of Omaha Public Works Department is requesting proposals from consulting engineering firms to perform various engineering services for multiple transportation and environmental projects.  The City expects multiple consultants will be selected for these distinct projects; however, the City reserves the right to select one or multiple firms to complete one or multiple projects.  The City may also maintain a prioritized list of qualified consultants to perform similar work to be initiated before June 1, 2023.

Interested firms may request a detailed scope of work by emailing their requests to ae.selection@cityofomaha.org  or by writing to the Public Works Department, Attention:  Sylvia, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE 68183 prior to March 17, 2021.

Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, as per specifications on file in the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Agent.  These documents may also be found at www.douglascountypurchasing.org.

Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC 1, Omaha Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, NE  68183 and marked BID ON:

and must be on file in his office on or before 11:00 a.m. on the bid opening date at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC 4, Omaha Douglas Civic Center.

As evidence of good faith and guarantee that a contract will be entered into should an award be made thereon, a bid bond statement must accompany the bid in the amount of:

$1,000.00               Failure to do so will be cause for rejection.

REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL

 CONSULTING SERVICES

On-Call Services for the

City of Omaha Traffic Signal System

 

The City of Omaha Public Works Department is seeking qualifications from consulting firms to provide on-call design and operations services for the City of Omaha Traffic Signal System.  The City of Omaha invites qualified consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications Package for Professional Engineering Services.  The selected firm(s) will assist City staff to provide preliminary design, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, final design, integration, acceptance testing, construction support services, and operational design and implementation for the deployment of traffic signal and communications system upgrades as well as various other Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components of the traffic signal system.
