REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The City of Omaha Public Works Department is requesting qualifications of consulting engineering firms to perform construction engineering services for multiple projects to be identified throughout the 2021-2022 construction seasons.  The City expects multiple consultants will be selected for these projects; however, the City reserves the right to select one or multiple firms to complete the projects within the duration identified.  The City will maintain a ranked and prioritized list of qualified consultants to perform work to be initiated before December 31, 2022.

Project Description:  Douglas County Engineer Locker Room Renovation is an interior renovation of approximately 930 sf of space.  The design firms responsible for the various drawing packages are as follows:

1. Architectural – Schemmer.

2. Mechanical Engineering – Schemmer.

3. Electrical Engineering – Schemmer.

Construction Contract:  Bids will be received for the following Work:

1. General Contract (all trades).

Douglas County will accept sealed bids on a combined Construction contract, including General Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical work, from qualified Contractors for Douglas County, Nebraska on or before the bid opening date, as per the project specifications.
