The Omaha Public Works Department is interested in securing the services of firms for various City of Omaha architect, engineer and related services for projects under $100,000 for a period of approximately 12 months, beginning February 1, 2021 for the following disciplines:
• Architectural • Landscape Architecture
• Civil Engineering/Environmental • Materials Testing
• Civil Engineering/Transportation • Mechanical Engineering
• Construction Management/Inspection • Structural Engineering
• Electrical Engineering • Studies
• G.I.S. Services • Surveying

Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha - Concrete Pavement Repair/Replacement for Parks and Trails - 2021 are invited and will be received on or before Wednesday, February 3, 2021, as per the project’s specifications.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked “BID ON: City of Omaha - Concrete Pavement Repair/Replacement for Parks and Trails - 2021”, must be in her office on or before 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained at the offices of the following printers: A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402-592-4950), and Standard Digital Imaging, 4426 South 108th Street, Omaha, NE 68137 (800-642-8062) on or after Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Bidders may view the contract documents (plans & specifications, etc.) on the project free of charge from their websites. Electronic or hard copy prints of all contract documents may be obtained from any one of them by contacting them directly and placing an order. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by the printer to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. Potential bidders may receive special pricing for the printing of hard copies of the contract documents. Contact the printer for the cost associated with your request.

General Contractor shall self-perform with its own workforce a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the Contract. Purchasing of materials does not qualify as self-performing the Work.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
