Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the opening time, 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, as per specifications on file in the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Agent. These documents may also be found at www.douglascountypurchasing.org.
Sealed bids should be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC 1, Omaha Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, NE 68183 and marked BID ON:

and must be on file in her office on or before 11:00 a.m., on the bid opening date at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC 4, Omaha Douglas Civic Center.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that a contract will be entered into should an award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany the bid. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection.
The City of Omaha reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the POOL TUB SANDBLASTING, ELKHORN POOL, 3200 N. 207TH STREET are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, JANUARY 25, 2023, as per the project’s specifications.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked BID ON: “City of Omaha POOL TUB SANDBLASTING”, must be in her office on or before 11:00 A.M. on: Wednesday, FEBRUARY 1, 2023 at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained at the offices of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68127 (402-592-4950) on or after Wednesday, DECEMBER 28, 2022. Bidders may view the contract documents (plans, specifications, addendums, etc.) on the project free of charge from the A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. website at www.adtechsupply.com. Hard copy prints of all contract documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. by contacting them directly and placing an order. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. Potential bidders will receive special pricing for the printing of hard copies of the contract documents. Contact A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. for the cost associated with your request.

A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project. Bidders are able to view the pool between the hours of 5am – 11pm.
This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories for 0% of the total bid amount. For additional information see Specification Section 00 20 00, ‘Instructions to Bidders”, Part 2.16, “Utilization of Small and Emerging Small Business”.
This project does not require the bidder to submit an Economic Equity and Inclusion Program (EEIP) Plan or an approved EEIP Certificate with their bid.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
