NOTICE OF MEETING

CITY OF VALLEY

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Valley, Nebraska, will meet on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at the Valley City Hall (Council Chambers) located at 203 N. Spruce Street, Valley, Nebraska.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider a request for a variance from Article 8, Section 5.09 which states:

8.05.09

Signs Prohibited Under These Regulations

All signs not expressly permitted in these regulations or exempt from regulation hereunder in accordance with the previous section are prohibited in the City. Such signs include, but are not limited to:

1.  Beacons;

2.  Roof signs;

3.  Suspended signs;

4.  Strings of lights not permanently mounted to a rigid background, except those exempt under the previous section;

5.  Audible Signs;

6.  Pole Signs; and

7.  Off-Premises and On-Premises Billboards.

An agenda kept continually current is available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk at 203 N. Spruce Street, Valley, Nebraska.
