PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
QUALITY REFRIGERATED SERVICES III
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 25, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Quality Refrigerated Services III Redevelopment Project Plan.
The redevelopment project plan proposes to add 33,700 square feet warehouse for cold and freezer storage to the east of the existing building at 3301 G Street. This will provide more capacity for cold storage and meat processing activities for the company. Only a portion of the new site will be redeveloped at this time. As the company’s operations grow, additional expansion at the proposed redevelopment site is anticipated.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the May 1, 2019 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $525,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site work, architectural and engineering costs, geotechnical studies, environmental studies and survey, and public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $6,815,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk's Office.

SADDLE CREEK AT DAVENPORT
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 25, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Saddle Creek at Davenport Redevelopment Project Plan.
The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of two buildings for commercial use that will front Saddle Creek Road, and a third for a five-unit townhome building at the east end of the site, adjacent to a residential neighborhood area. The larger commercial building will be about 5,000 square feet and proposed for two tenants. South of this will be a commercial structure, containing approximately 2,335 square feet for a single tenant use. The five (5) townhome units are located at the east end of the site and will be one and a half story, two to three bedroom townhomes, each with a two stall parking garage.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the May 1, 2019 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $532,500.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site preparation, architectural and engineering fees, geotechnical study, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $6,262,880.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk's Office.
