NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on September 12, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance approving a redevelopment and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Omaha and DIGS APTS 2, LLC, to implement the Digs Apartments Mason Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan for a redevelopment project site located at 3066 Mason Street, which proposes the demolition of four existing, vacant single family homes on the project site and the construction of two new apartment buildings of four and five stories with approximately 187 apartment units; the agreement authorizes the use of up to $4,114,758.00, which includes capitalized interest, in excess ad valorem taxes (TIF) generated by the development to help fund the cost of the project.
An ordinance to approve the Amendment to the Agreement which amends Article 37 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Omaha and the Omaha Police Officer’s Association and adopts new pay plans for the 2024 and 2025 payroll years; to provide that any ordinances of the City of Omaha, and any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, which are in conflict with the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement shall not be applicable to those employees in the Bargaining Unit described in Article 1, Section 1, of said Collective Bargaining Agreement; to provide authorization for the Mayor to execute and the City Clerk to attest her signature.
An ordinance (1) to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and the Metropolitan Area Planning Agency in the amount of $250,000.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2023 – 2027 Greater Omaha Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Award #5D-96704001-0, awarded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); to lead development of the CPRG key deliverables within the Omaha-Council Bluffs M.S.A., involving appropriations of more than one fiscal year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter; providing for payment from a specific account.
