NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in Conference Room 702, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on September 19, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use by the City of Omaha, the necessary private property for the purpose of the Signal Infrastructure Phase E1 Project, identified as OPW 54140; providing that the City negotiate with the property owners for land acquisitions, permanent easements and temporary construction easements; providing that as to each specified parcel which cannot be obtained by negotiation, condemnation proceedings be undertaken and completed.
An ordinance approving an amendment to a grant award contract with the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources for the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Program, involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to authorize the increase of grant funds received in the amount of $1,086,503.30, as outlined in the amendment; to provide for reimbursements to a specific account.
An ordinance approving a redevelopment and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Omaha and MH Ozone II, LLC, to implement the MH Landing Lot 1 Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan for a redevelopment project site located at 3401 S 72nd Street, which proposes the construction of a new one story commercial building of about 6,650 square feet with two bays of retail uses; the agreement authorizes the use of up to $581,976.00, which includes capitalized interest, in excess ad valorem taxes (TIF) generated by the development to help fund the cost of the project.
An ordinance approving a redevelopment and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Omaha and Boho Flats, LLC, to implement the Boho Flats Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan for a redevelopment project site located at 1432 South 13th Street, which proposes the six buildings on the project site be demolished and a new five story mixed use building with 59 apartment units and 5,400 square feet of retail space will be constructed; the agreement authorizes the use of up to $2,090,443.00, which includes capitalized interest, in excess ad valorem taxes (TIF) generated by the development to help fund the cost of the project.
An ordinance to amend Section 23-182 of the Omaha Municipal Code to reflect changes in the shift differential pay for certain employees within the City of Omaha and the Civilian Management Professional and Technical Employees Council (CMPTEC); any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, which are in conflict with this Ordinance shall not be applicable to those employees in CMPTEC.
An ordinance to accept the invoice from Lexipol LLC., dba Cordico, Inc. for a one-year extension of the CordicoShield Law Enforcement Wellness App for the Omaha Police Department for the period of October 23, 2023 to October 22, 2024 for a total cost of $39,500.00; with payment to be made from the Omaha Police Department General Fund 11111, Organization 112111 Executive Services Administration, Account 42266 Information Technology Contracted.
An ordinance to establish, pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a Class “A..” Flammable Liquids Storage District to be known as District No. A-165 at 9100 John J Pershing Drive, as requested by Metropolitan Utilities District, and as described in the legal description and plat plan.
An ordinance to establish, pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a Class “B” Flammable Liquids Storage District to be known as District No. B-217 at 4829 S 114th Street, as requested by T-Mobile.
An ordinance to approve a Second Amendment to Lease between the City of Omaha and 1401 Jones, LLC for the lease of certain premises located at 1401 Jones Street, to clarify certain responsibilities and obligations of the parties for maintenance and repair; to authorize the payment of $450,333.30 in expenses associated with ADA improvements and additional structural support.
