PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
HNHC CENTRAL PARK SCATTERED
HOUSING
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on September 1, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The HNHC Central Park Scattered Housing Redevelopment Project Plan.
The redevelopment project plan proposes the construction of 11 new homes on vacant sites in north Omaha. The new homes will be affordable housing for income qualified residents.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the June 3, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $150,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as site work, architectural and engineering costs, various studies and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $3,077,089.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on September 1, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The 44th & Douglas Redevelopment Project Plan.
The redevelopment project plan proposes the construction of a new seven story hotel with about 100 guestrooms and approximately 7,300 square feet of commercial area on the first floor.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the July 1, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $3,000,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site preparation, architectural and engineering fees, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $17,500,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
