PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 19, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Gene Leahy Mall Replat Two, a minor plat inside city limits (property is located within an ACI-1 Overlay District), located northeast of 10th and Farnam Streets, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is the City of Omaha.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 1401 Jones Street from DS-Downtown Service District to CBD-Central Business District (property is located within an ACI-1-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District).
An ordinance to rezone property located at 806 North 49th Street from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
An ordinance to rezone property located at 3171-3175 Leavenworth Street from GI-General Industrial District to CC-Community Commercial District (property is located within and ACI-1-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District).
An ordinance to rezone property southeast of Blair High and Rainwood Roads from MU-Mixed Use District to GI-General Industrial District.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the IG-Industrial Gateway Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located southeast of Blair High and Rainwood Roads.
An ordinance to rezone the property located at 4912 and 4914 Davenport Street from R4(35) Single-Family Residential District (High Density) and R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.
An ordinance to approve a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District in a R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District located at 4912 and 4914 Davenport Street, to approve the Development Plan.
An ordinance to approve an Amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the Master Plan for the City of Omaha, to change the future land use map from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential for property located at 4906, 4908, 4910, 4912 and 4914 Davenport Street.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Edward Rose Development Company, LLC for a Special Use Permit to allow a Broadcast tower in the R6 District, with a waiver to Section 55-226, Height, to allow a 60 foot tall tower, located north of George B. Lake Parkway and West Q Road, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
