NOTICE OF THE SITTING OF THE CITY COUNCIL AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
To the owners of lots, parts of lots and places of real estate described herein and abutting or adjacent to the streets, alleys, or avenues herein situated in whole or in part within any of the districts herein specified and all being within the City of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.
You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Omaha will sit as a Board of Equalization in the Legislative Chamber in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska, at least one day from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., commencing June 6, 2023, for the purpose of considering and equalizing the proposed levy of special taxes and assessments prepared by the Public Works Department and now on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and correcting any errors therein, and hearing all complaints that the owners of property so to be assessed and taxed may have to be made; said special taxes and assessments proposed to be levied being necessary to cover the actual cost of the public improvements duly authorized to be made pursuant to Section 34-331 to 34-334 of the Omaha Municipal Code and now completed as follows:

The respective amounts proposed to be assessed have been determined by or in connection with the use of a scaling back and graduating process with reference to benefits conferred by the improvements and all such amounts estimated to be uniform and not in excess of the benefits conferred by the improvements.
You are further notified that said proposed plan of assessment is now subject to the inspection and examination of any of the owners of said lots or pieced of real estate, or any other person interested in said proposed assessments at the Office of the City Clerk, and that it is proposed that unless for good and sufficient cause when it may be otherwise ordered and determined, the cost of said clearing of snow from sidewalk, respectively, shall be assessed on the several lots and pieces of real estate, as shown herein, and by said proposed plans and specifications pursuant to Section 34-333 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
WRITTEN PROTEST MUST BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK SEVEN DAYS BEFORE THE BOARD MEETING.
You are hereby notified to appear before the Board of Equalization at the time and place above specified to make complaints, statements or objections you may desire concerning any of said proposed levies and assessments of said special taxes.

OMAHA HOUSING AUTHORITY
REQUEST for PROPOSAL (RFP 230501)
RAD Capital Needs Assessments (RCNA) and Energy Audit
Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) is reviewing the option to utilize Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), Section 18, and other HUD tools to fund the work to preserve housing for low-income residents in Omaha. OHA seeks proposals from qualified consulting firms to complete RAD Capital Needs Assessments (RCNA) and energy audits for several of OHA’s properties.

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS POOL
The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) is seeking qualified Construction Contractors to provide technical proposals from those companies to be placed in a Pool of Contractors eligible to provide construction and maintenance services (via additional quotes) to OHA.
RFQ packets will be available on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 8:00 A.M. CST.
