OMAHA STREETCAR AUTHORITY
NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The Omaha Streetcar Authority will have a Special Meeting at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, May 23, 2025, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Authority shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at https://www.cityofomaha.org/omaha-streetcar.

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 17, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
3501 Farnam Apartments Redevelopment Project Plan.

The redevelopment project plan proposes the demolition of the former WOWT News station building and the construction of a new four and five story mixed use building with 187 market rate apartment units.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the April 2, 2025 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $4,772,800.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site preparation, engineered foundations, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $44,314,983.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
