NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 19, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance vacating Burt Street from the west right-of-way line of 24th Street to the east right-of-way line of 27th Plaza, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska; providing for the reversion or transfer of the same.
An ordinance vacating Burt Street from the west right-of-way line of 20th Street to the east right-of-way line of 24th Street, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, providing for the reversion or transfer of the same.
An ordinance to approve a Right-of-Way Vacation Agreement between the City of Omaha and Creighton University, concerning the terms and conditions of the proposed vacation of the right-of-way, including required public improvements and the maintenance and liability obligations, for Burt Street between 20th Street and 27th Plaza; to authorize the execution of said Agreement.
An ordinance to repeal section 40-473 of Chapter 40, Article VII, Division 2 of the Omaha Municipal Code governing the qualifications an individual must possess to be employed as a mechanical inspector with the City of Omaha.
An ordinance to establish, pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a Class “B” Flammable Liquids Storage District to be known as District No. B-219 at 6720 North 9th Street, as requested by Performance Foodservice, PFG.

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Omaha Public Library will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. at the Benson Branch Library, 6015 Binney Street. Proposed agenda kept continually current is available on the Library’s website at www.omahalibrary.org. The Board reserves the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature at said public meeting when convened. Requests for sign language interpreters or other alternative formats will require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. The Omaha Public Schools Board of Education and Educational Service Unit 19 will hold their next regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 6:00 PM Central. The meeting will be held at the Teacher Administrative Center (TAC), 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68131-2000. A copy of the current agenda is available for public inspection in the office of the Board Secretary at TAC during normal business hours.
