The following Ordinance has been set for City Council Hearing on February 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, at which hearing all persons interested may be heard:

An ordinance to create Road Maintenance District No. 2022-01, in the City of Omaha, for the purpose of improving Quail Ridge Circle, from Skyline Drive to its terminus, by reconstruction of the roadway base and application of an asphalt surface course; to fix and define the boundaries of said district; to provide for the determination and assessment of damages, if any, occasioned by reason of change of grade; to authorize the Public Works Department, barring protest to the contrary in accordance with OMC 26-65, to complete the associated improvement project.

AMENDMENT TO THE TRIO;

15TH AND FARNAM

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on February 28, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Amendment to The Trio; 15th and Farnam Redevelopment Project Plan.

Applicant: Bread Pudding, LLC

Location: Southeast of 15th and

Farnam Streets

The amendment proposes to (1) correct the name of the Plan by removing the semicolon after the word Trio, and (2) to incorporate the request to designate the redevelopment project area as an Enhanced Employment Area, in order to utilize a general business occupation tax. The redevelopment project plan originally proposed comprehensive rehabilitation of three buildings to function as a single development and contains 18 apartment units and three street level commercial spaces of about 7,200 square feet.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the October 7, 2020 public hearing.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

Anyone interested in this matter should be in attendance.

The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA and/or the Authority) is seeking proposals from qualified corporate trustees, which may be a trust company or bank having trust owners within or without the state of Nebraska, to provide corporate trustee services in connection with certain tax-exempt bonds to be issued by OHA, as such services are further described in this Request for Proposal.
