NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 3, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance approving an amendment to a grant award contract with the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources for the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Program, involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to authorize the increase of grant funds received in the amount of $1,086,503.30, as outlined in the amendment; to provide for reimbursements to a specific account.
An ordinance to transfer a permanent easement in land to Metropolitan Utilities District of Omaha, a municipal Corporation and a Political Corporation, for purposes of relocating facilities, and appurtenances thereto, upon City-owned property located near Tranquility Park, north of 120th & West Maple Road; to authorize the Mayor to execute the attached Right-of-Way Easement.
An ordinance to amend Section 23 - 177 of the Omaha Municipal Code concerning employment classifications by adding the employment classification entitled Vision Zero Coordinator with a salary range of 16.1 MC ($64,813 to $77,771); to repeal Section 23-177 as heretofore existing.
An ordinance to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and DOT.Comm in the amount of $27,000.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2018 National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Grant, Award #2018-AK-BX-0030, award-ed by the Bureau of Justice Assistance; to provide funding for web server hosting and support, database server hosting and support, and DOT.Comm application support for the Sexual Assault Management System (SAMS); involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter.
An ordinance to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and DOT.Comm in the amount of $69,120.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2016 National Crime Statistics Exchange (NCS-X) Grant, Award #2016-FU-CX-K062, awarded by the Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Statistics; to provide funding for project management and coordination of the City of Omaha’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) implementation project; involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter.
An ordinance to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and DOT.Comm in the amount of $17,526.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2018 Criminal and Juvenile Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP) Grant, Award #2018-MO-BX-0004, awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance; to provide funding for domain hosting of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) website and ongoing technical support during the project period; involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter.
An ordinance levying a special tax assessment for cutting and clearing weeds, grass and worthless vegetation in accordance with Sections 18-21 through 18-30 of the Omaha Municipal Code on certain lots in the City of Omaha – Group 2020-06.
An ordinance levying a special tax assessment for litter removal in accordance with Sections 18-21 through 18-30 of the Omaha Municipal Code on certain lots in the City of Omaha – Group 2020-07.
An ordinance to approve the Omaha Downtown Improvement District Association (ODIDA) 2020-2021 Budget and Workplan and levying a special tax and assessment on all lots and pieces of real estate within Business Improvement District No. 6874 in the City of Omaha in the amount of $559,791.94 such assessment shall cover the costs anticipated by the Business Improvement District for March 2020 to February 2021 and contemplated by Ordinance No. 37504 which was approved by the City Council of the City of Omaha on October 3, 2006, and reauthorized by Ordinance No. 38957 approved on March 8, 2011 and amended by Ordinance No. 41463 approved on April 26, 2018 – Group 2020-6874.
