PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PACIFIC HEIGHTS
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on March 17, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Pacific Heights Redevelopment Project Plan.
The redevelopment project plan proposes an infill redevelopment project comprised of a six unit apartment building with each unit having two bedrooms. The project includes 13 parking stalls inside the structure at grade level, with three stories of apartments above the parking level.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the January 8, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $267,122.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site work, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $2,289,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
