NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 4, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance to approve an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Omaha and the City of Bellevue, Nebraska for the receipt and disposition of yard waste, to commence April 1, 2025 and run through December 31, 2030 and is extendable for two (2) additional one-year terms upon written consent by both the City of Omaha and the City of Bellevue, involving the reimbursement of money involving appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended.
An ordinance to amend Sections 55-651 through 55-663 of the Omaha Municipal Code regarding adoption of new Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) panels and Flood Insurance Studies within the City’s floodplain regulations.
An ordinance to approve the acceptance of and authorize disbursement over more than one fiscal year from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes, FY 2024 Older Adult Home Modification Grant, Award #NELHM0061-24, in the amount of $1,464,131.00, during the project period extending from March 1, 2025 to March 1, 2028; to provide funding for home modification services for seniors for up to 120 housing units; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter.
