PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 9, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets from GI-General Industrial District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.
An ordinance to approve a PUD-Planned Unit Development Overlay District in an R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District, located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets, to approve the Development Plan.
An ordinance to approve an Amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the Master Plan for the City of Omaha, to change the future land use map from Downtown Mixed Use and Industrial to High density residential for property located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets.
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled The Cottages, a minor plat inside city limits, located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled The Cottages, a minor plat inside city limits, located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets, is hereby approved and accepted; and that the replat transmitted herewith entitled The Cottages, a minor plat inside city limits, located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled Horbachs First Addition, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement between the City of Omaha and 1528 N 16th LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as The Cottages (Lot 1) and is located northwest of 16th and Charles Streets.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 3216 South 56th Street and 5628 Hascall Street from R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density) and R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High Density) to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density).

“NOTICE TO PUBLIC”
The following Resolution has been set for City Council Hearing on March 9, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Legislative Chambers, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, at which hearing all persons interested may be heard:
A resolution, to create Street Improvement Project No. 2019-10, in the City of Omaha, for the improvement of 85th Street, from Emmet Street to Pinkney Street by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete; to fix and define the boundaries of said district; to provide for the determination and assessment of damages, if any, occasioned by reason of change of grade; to authorize the Public Works Department, barring protest to the contrary in accordance with OMC 26-65, to complete the associated improvement project.
