NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on February 6, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance (1) to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, Douglas County Administrative Office in the amount of $200,000.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, Award #15PBJA-23-GG-03621-JAGX, awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance; to provide law enforcement programs, prevention and education programs, prosecution and court programs, corrections and community corrections programs, mental health programs and crisis intervention teams, and planning, evaluation and technology improvement programs; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter.
An ordinance to amend Chapter 20, Article III of the Omaha Municipal Code, entitled “Offenses Against the Public Peace,” by adding Section 20-52 to provide for a prohibition of disorderly premises or nuisance gatherings.

Lawncare Services
The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) is seeking Proposals from qualified contractors to provide efficient and effective services, OHA is now soliciting bids from qualified, licensed, and insured entities to provide the Lawncare Services for OHA and its affiliates locations.
RFP solicitation will be available on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 12:00 P.M.

The Pre-Proposal Zoom meeting will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.
