PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on February 11, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Mapleview Replat Five, a minor plat inside city limits, located southwest of 90th Street and West Maple Road (property is located within an MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District), is hereby, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Mapleview Replat Five, a minor plat inside city limits, located southwest of 90th Street and West Maple Road (property is located within an MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District), is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat Mapleview Replat Four, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
An ordinance to rezone property located south of 193rd Street and HWS Cleveland Boulevard from AG-Agricultural District to MU-Mixed Use District.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for Avenue One, for the property located at 185 South 188th Street, to allow for development of the site with a 612-unit multi-family residential development on Lot 1, Replat 2.
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Avenue One (Lot 13), located south of 193rd Street and HWS Cleveland Boulevard, is hereby approved and accepted.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Kruegerland, LLC, and Jasper Stone 192nd and Dodge, LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Avenue One (Lot 13) and is located south of 193rd Street and South HWS Cleveland Boulevard.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 10842 and 10826 Farnam Drive.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Joel Dougherty for a Special Use Permit to allow a Medical office in the GI District, located southeast of 30th and L Streets, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
