PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on December 19, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Res. that, the Revised Preliminary Plat entitled Bluestem Prairie 2nd Addition, a subdivision inside the city limits, located at 4966 Newport Avenue, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

An ordinance to rezone property located at 12903 Deer Creek Drive and 13014 Scott Street from DR-Development Reserve District and R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density) to DR-Development Reserve District.

An ordinance to rezone property located at 12903 Deer Creek Drive and 13014 Scott Street from DR-Development Reserve District and R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density) to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density).

Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Deer Creek Replat 27, a minor plat outside the city limits, located at 12903 Deer Creek Drive and 13014 Scott Street, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plats entitled Deer Creek Replat 21 and Deer Creek, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 156th and State Streets from AG-Agricultural District to DR-Development Reserve District.

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 156th and State Streets from AG-Agricultural District to MU-Mixed Use District.

An ordinance to approve a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for property located northwest of 156th and State Streets between the City of Omaha and Walnut Grove, LLC, providing site development standards.

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Hanover Falls Center (Lots 3-8, Outlot B), a subdivision outside the city limits, located northwest of 156th and State Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement between the City of Omaha and Walnut Grove LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Hanover Falls Center (Lots 3-8 and Outlot B) and is located northwest of 156th and State Streets.

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Q Streets from AG-Agricultural District to DR-Development Reserve District.

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Q Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R6-Low-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Q Streets from AG-Agricultural District to MU-Mixed Use District.

An ordinance to approve a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for property located northwest of 204th and Q Streets between the City of Omaha and BHI Development, Inc., providing site development standards.

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Kensington Park (Lots 3-15, Outlots A-C), a subdivision outside city limits, located northwest of 204th and Q Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, BHI Development, Inc., The Kensington Park Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 629 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Kensington Park (Lots 3-15 and Outlots A-C) and is located northwest of 204th and Q Streets.

An ordinance to rezone property located at 3630 Burt Street from R7– Multiple-Family Residential District (Medium-Density) and R3- Single-Family Residential District (Medium-Density) to R3 - Single-Family Residential District (Medium-Density) (property is a designated Local Landmark).

An ordinance to rezone property located at 1341 South 21st Street from GI–General Industrial District to R5- Urban Family Residential District.

An ordinance to rezone property located at 2054 Poppleton Street from GI–General Industrial District to R4-Single Family Residential District (High-Density).

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 13750 West Maple Road.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 6401 and 6403 North 91st Circle.

Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Ashli Carlock for a Special Use Permit to allow a Daycare (general) to be located in the R4(35) District, located at 3020 Huntington Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
