PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

GROVER STREET

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on January 31, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Grover Street

Redevelopment Project Plan.

Applicant: Dudzinski Properties GE, LLC

Location: 7016 Grover Street

The redevelopment project plan proposes construction of a new two story dental office building, and will be connected to the existing New Image Dentistry building located on the northeast corner of 72nd and Grover Streets.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the November 2, 2022 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $517,672.00, plus capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site work, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $2,823,607.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
