PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

LEAVENWORTH POINT COMMERCE

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on February 2, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

The Leavenworth Point Commerce

Redevelopment Project Plan.

Location: 3105-3115 Leavenworth Street

The redevelopment project plan proposes to renovate and lease 11,424 square feet of commercial, retail, and restaurant spaces with 42 onsite parking stalls and 13 parking stalls developed in the adjacent rights of way.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the December 2, 2020 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $275,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as property acquisition, construction hard and soft costs, architecture and engineering, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $2,534,855.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
