PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
HFH NAAF 9
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on November 9, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
HFH NAAF 9 Redevelopment Project Plan.
Applicant: Habitat for Humanity
Location: Pinkney and Spaulding Streets
on the north, Wirt and Pratt Streets on
the south, 24th Street on the east, and
29th Street on the west.
The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of 26 single family homes through Habitat for Humanity’s building model of affordable housing. These will be the second set of single family homes recently constructed by Habitat for Humanity mostly in the Neighborhood Action and Fact neighborhood.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the September 1, 2021 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $1,000,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as excavation, grading, lot clearing, paving, sewer/water/power work, architectural & engineering fees and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $6,621,652.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on November 9, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Blackstone Square Redevelopment
Project Plan.
Applicant: Blackstone Real Estate, LLC
Location: 3863 Farnam Street
The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of a 11,000 square foot, two story commercial building with four tenant bays each with a second floor patio.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the September 1, 2021 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $515,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site preparation, architectural and engineering costs, to include a $15,000.00 contribution of the TIF loan proceeds towards the Midtown Public Improvements Fund, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $4,525,655.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

APPROVAL OF APPRENTICESHIP AGREEMENTS
