Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on October 8, 2019 and passed and approved the ordinances entitled:
ORDINANCE NO. 41997
AN ORDINANCE to approve an Amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the Master Plan for the City of Omaha, to change the future land use map from Industrial to Low-density residential for property generally located northwest of 120th Street and Rainwood Road; and to provide for an effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. Section 7.05 of the Charter of the City of Omaha allows for the City Council to adopt amendments to the City’s Master Plan as deemed necessary and appropriate upon recommendation by the Planning Board. Section 2. The Planning Board, at their August 7, 2019 public hearing, recommend approval of the proposed amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the City’s Master Plan to change the future land use map from Industrial to Low-density residential for property generally located northwest of 120th Street and Rainwood Road, as provided for on Exhibit “A” attached hereto and made a part of this reference. Section 3. The said proposed amendment to the City’s Master Plan, as set forth in the attached Exhibit “A”, is hereby approved. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effective fifteen (15) days form the date of its passage.

ORDINANCE NO. 41998
AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located southwest of 192nd Street and Camden Avenue from AG-Agricultural District, R1-Single Family Residential District (Large Lot), and R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density) to R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: Lots 1-40 and Outlots A-C, Indian Creek Reserve, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned from AG-Agricultural District, R1-Single Family Residential District (Large Lot), and R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density) to R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density). Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its passage.
