INVITATION TO BID
Sealed Proposals for the construction of “2025 Bennington Street Patching”, will be received by the City Clerk at 15505 Warehouse Street, Bennington, NE 68007 until 1:30 p.m. on the 13th day of March, 2025 and thereafter be read aloud.
The work is generally described as follows: Concrete pavement repairs on various street across the city. Proposed work schedule is for Fiscal year 24/25.
Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid each group.
All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the City and must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit of 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Bennington as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith. Bid Securities will be returned to unsuccessful bidders.
Copies of the contract documents are on file with the City of Bennington for examination by bidders. A complementary set of bid documents is available via email by requesting them from the city public works director at jakepwd@benningtonne.com. A paper set of project documents is available for a non-refundable price of $20.00 per set. Please send your check payable to City of Bennington at 15505 Warehouse Street, Bennington NE 68007. In order to bid the project, the contract documents must be issued directly by the City to the bidder.
The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the Owner, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.

Sealed Proposals for the construction of “Bennington Public Works Building,” JEO Project No. 220296.01, QuestCDN No. 9533480, will be received by the city clerk at 15505 Warehouse Street, Bennington, NE 68007, until 2:00 PM on the 13th day of March 2025, and thereafter will be read aloud.
The work is generally described as follows: The proposed Public Works building will utilize a pre-engineered metal building structure totaling approximately 11,900 sf. Interior spaces will be sub-divided into vehicle bays, offices, break room, and restrooms. Exterior finishes will consist of pre-finished metal wall panels, and pre-finished standing seam metal roof panels. All required site, framing, finishing, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work shall be included under this contract.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on February 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the city of Bennington Offices (15505 Warehouse Street), attendance is recommended but not required.
All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Architect and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of Bennington, Nebraska as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith.
Copies of the contract documents are on file with the City of Bennington for examination by bidders. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained by download in PDF format from JEO’s website at jeo.com for a nonrefundable fee of $30.00. Paper copies of the Bid Documents are available at the office of JEO Architecture, Inc. (2000 Q Street, Suite 500 Lincoln NE 68503) free of charge upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash or check, in the amount of $150.00 for one set if returned within 21 days of Notice of Award in reusable condition. All other requested sets will be at the expense of the contractor to cover actual printing costs. For plans/specifications to be shipped, please include a separate check for the $15.00 non-refundable fee for each set of plans ordered. In order to bid the project, the contract documents must be issued directly by JEO Architecture, Inc. or QuestCDN to the bidder.
