Final election tallies have been compiled by Douglas and Sarpy counties, and a state board meets today to certify the results.

The Nebraska State Board of Canvassers will meet at the State Capitol at 12:30 p.m. Monday to certify the results of the Nov. 3 statewide general election, the Secretary of State’s Office announced in a news release.

The board consists of all state constitutional officers except Lt. Gov. Mike Foley. The chair is Gov. Pete Ricketts. The meeting will be open to the public.

County canvassing boards have met to certify their results, and local election officials submit the certified results from local, state, and federal races to the Secretary of State’s Office. Results for offices filed through the state are presented to the State Board of Canvassers for final approval. If any results require an automatic recount, the board will order that a recount happen at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Final, certified results will be published at sos.nebraska.gov.

The Douglas County Election Commission canvassed its results on Nov. 23, and the Sarpy County Election Commission canvassed its results on Nov. 21.

The following are the official results of general election reported by Douglas and Sarpy counties:
