OMAHA — Two major national groups that spend big on competitive congressional races aired their first TV ads Tuesday in the U.S. House race to represent Nebraska’s 2nd District.

‘Three To One’: Republicans Protest Presidential Debate Fact Checking Unfair To Trump

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump and other Republicans complained Wednesday that the previous night’s ABC News presidential debate was unfair toward the GOP nominee.

But the campaigns of Trump and the Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, also engaged via the news media about the possibility of a second debate before the Nov. 5 election.

LINCOLN — Nebraska Republican U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer picked up the expected endorsement this week of her party’s presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump.

The endorsement’s timing hints at an effort to shore up support from some of the Republican base after some recent polling indicated a closer-than-expected contest.
