Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on January 12, 2021 and passed and approved the following ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 42411

AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing ce11ain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located at 4240 South 50th Street from CC-Community Commercial District to GC-General Commercial District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section I. The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: Lots I, Spring Valley Plaza Replat 5, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby rezoned from CC-Community Commercial District to GC-General Commercial District.; and Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its passage.

ORDINANCE NO. 42412

AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance #42269 previously passed by City Council on July 23, 2020 approving the Service Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska, on behalf of the Omaha Police Department (OPD), and Idemia Identity and Security USA, LLC (IDEMIA), a Delaware limited liability corporation, to lease an IDEMIA Ruggedized LiveScan Station for digital fingerprinting, for a term of five years with the option to renew for another five years, and can be done so administratively; that in consideration, the City shall pay IDEMIA $13,028.00 over the five-year period; such five-year period is amended from Year 2020 through Year 2024 to, payment will be made by the Nebraska State Patrol for Year 2021, and payments in the amount of $3,257.00 will be made by OPD for Year 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025; and to provide an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska, on behalf of the Omaha Police Department, and Idemia Identity and Security USA, LLC, a Delaware limited liability corporation, to lease an IDEMIA Ruggedized LiveScan Station for digital fingerprinting, for a term of five years with the option to renew for another five years, is hereby accepted and approved. Section 2. In consideration, the City shall pay IDEMIA $13,028.00 over a five-year period; payment will be made by the Nebraska State Patrol for Year 2021, and payments in the amount of $3,257.00 will be made by OPD for Year 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Section 3. That this Ordinance, not being of legislative character, shall be in full force and take effect upon its passage.

CITY of OMAHA

AIR QUALITY CONTROL

Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of Audubon Materials dba Central Plains Cement to obtain a minor air emission construction permit for their cement terminal at 1106 Ida St, Omaha.  There will be no change in potential emissions as a result of this project.

No significant impact on air quality is expected from the operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended with the condition that any pollution control equipment that may be necessary for compliance with the City of Omaha or Nebraska Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations will be installed within 180 days after notification by the City of noncompliance.

All information submitted by the applicant and the proposed approval by Air Quality Control are available for inspection by the public at the office of Omaha Air Quality Control from January 20, 2021 to February 20, 2021. Comments received during that period will be considered. During that period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Control Officer for a public hearing, and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position.  The Control Officer may hold a public hearing if the comments, requests, or petitions raise legal, policy or discretionary questions and significant public interest exists with respect to the application.  Comments should be mailed to:
