Xchange Summit to Share Metro Health Report Card, Mental Health Discussions
The Xchange Summit is a free virtual event on Wednesday featuring a session on the regional plan for mental well-being and on the metro area health report card.
The event is targeted at medical, health and wellness professionals but is open to the community, such as human resource professionals.
It seeks to promote collaboration with communities across sectors for collective impact, the connection of skills with practical strategies and innovative results, and a commitment to improving health and wellness.
The mental health session stems from the 2021 Greater Omaha Council Bluffs Community Health Needs Assessment.
Speakers include Bruce Lockwood, senior vice president for community health at Professional Research Consultants, Kerry Kernen of the Douglas County Health Department, Sarah Schram of the Sarpy/Cass Health Department and Matthew Wyant of the Pottawattamie County Health Department. Lockwill will join Douglas County Health Director Lindsay Huse for the triennial Community Health Report Card session, too.
The event is scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with an opening keynote from independent consultant Dr. David W. Ballard and a closing keynote from blogger and speaker Tiffany Jenkins. Find more information and register at xchangesummit.com.
