State Officials Launch One Stop License Portal Website
The State of Nebraska launched a new One Stop License Portal where business operations can find all of their needed filings.
The site, onestop.nebraska.gov, brings state licensing and inspection services together, with links to business registration, services, commercial code as well as rules and regulations.
Gov. Pete Ricketts said the resource is intended to improve customer experiences for business owners and entrepreneurs.
“My administration’s vision is to grow Nebraska by creating opportunity through more effective, more efficient, and customer-focused state government,” Ricketts said in a statement. “I am excited to announce this new initiative, which will make it quicker and easier for businesses to access and submit needed documentation.”
The website is a collaboration of the Governor’s Office and the Department of Administrative Services’ Center of Operational Excellence with state agencies and Nebraska Interactive.
The Governor’s Office says the website aims to eventually bring together filings, forms and services from non-code state agencies and municipalities.
