Omaha Man Gets 15-20 Year Sentence For Fifth DUI
An Omaha man has been sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison after his fifth drunken driving conviction.
The Omaha World-Herald reported that Wilbur L. Jackson, 44, also was found guilty of leaving the scene of an accident and second-offense reckless driving.
A Cass County deputy learned that a Dodge Charger had struck a Toyota on U.S. Highway 34 near Elmwood on Feb. 3. The collision caused the Toyota, driven by a 68-year-old woman, to drive into a cornfield.
Jackson's car was spotted a short time later with front-end damage near Eagle, and he was arrested.
Jackson must serve at least 7½ years in prison before being eligible for parole.
