MCC Launches 3D Academy
A new Unity 3D Academy was recently launched by Metropolitan Community College.
The program teaches computer programming skills using Unity, a game development tool used in a variety of industries, including gaming, filmmaking, construction, engineering and manufacturing.
Students in the four-month, part-time program will learn to design detailed 2D, 3D and virtual reality games and experiences.
The skills gained through this academy have limitless applications,” said Robert Caldwell, MCC workforce innovation training manager. “The ability to build and utilize virtual 3D models brings plans, projects, ideas and images to life, aiding in innovation across industries, such as manufacturing, automotive and engineering.”
The classes begin Feb. 4, 2020. Registration is open. For more information, visit mccned.eud/wid.
