Important Dates Announced For Ralston Public Schools Mail-In Bond Election
The Ralston Public School District will hold a bond election on Tuesday, Oct. 12. The election will be conducted by mail, therefor there will not be polling place for voting.
All ballots will be mailed beginning Monday, Sept. 20, to voters who are registered at their current address within the Ralston Public School District. Ballots will be mailed in gold-colored envelopes measuring about 6 inches by 9 inches; a return envelope is included with the ballot. Voters must sign the back of their return envelope for the ballot to be counted.
All completed ballots must be returned to the Douglas County Election Commission or an official ballot drop box no later than Tuesday, Oct. 12, by 5 p.m. Drop boxes are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; no postage is needed on ballots placed in a drop box.
Westside Community Schools also will hold a levy override election on Tuesday, Oct. 12 with all the same stipulations as Ralston’s bond election.
The offices of the Douglas County Election Commission is located at 12220 West Center Rd. at the northwest corner of 120th Street and West Center Road in Bel Air Plaza, just northwest of Nobbies Parties.
