Federal Disaster Declaration Extended for Nebraska
Lincoln – The Federal Emergency Management Agency had extended the incident period for federal assistance related to flooding this spring and summer.
“Extending the disaster declaration into July is a much-needed step for the people of Central Nebraska whose lives were upturned by severe flooding last month,” Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts said. “Now, they will be eligible to apply for disaster assistance as they work to rebuild and repair their homes and businesses. Thanks to the Trump Administration and FEMA for recognizing our state’s need and responding quickly to help.”
