Berkshire Hathaway Holds 2021 Virtual Shareholder Meeting in L.A.
When the coronavirus pandemic first struck, Warren Buffett was defiant, saying the shareholders meeting would go on as it always had in downtown Omaha.
The shareholders meeting typically draws about 400,000 people to Omaha, but it was cancelled last year as restrictions on gatherings went into place due to COVID-19.
The meeting didn’t return this year, either. On Saturday, Buffett spent several hours answering questions at an online version of the Berkshire annual meeting.
Buffett was joined in answering questions by Berkshire vice chairmen Charlie Munger, Greg Abel and Ajit Jain. The meeting took place in Los Angeles, where Munger lives, not Omaha.
