16 Omaha Lawyers, Judges Chosen as Latest Fellows
Sixteen Omaha lawyers and judges are among the newest Fellows of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation, President Steve Guenzel announced.
The new Omaha honorees are Thomas F. Ackley, Koley Jessen; Ann F. Ashford; John B. Atkins, Union Bank & Trust Co.; Patrick J. Barrett, Fraser Stryker; Amy S. Bones, Children’s Hospital & Medical Center; Hon. Brian C. Buescher, U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska; Dean Joshua P. Fershée, Creighton University School of Law; Michael T. Gibbons, Woodke & Gibbons; Mary E. Jewell, TS Bank; Autumn G. Noble, Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co.; Anne Marie O’Brien, Lamson Dugan; J. Scott Paul, McGrath North; Paul F. Prentiss, Prentiss Grant; Wayne S. Rasmussen, Smith Slusky; Hon. Mary M.Z. Stevens, Douglas County Separate Juvenile Court; and T. Randall Wright, Baird Holm.
The Omaha honorees are among 30 Nebraska lawyers and judges who were inducted as members of the Class of 2020 Bar Foundation Fellows.
Lawyers are invited to become fellows based on their integrity and character, distinction in the profession or the community, contributions to the profession or the community and their contributions to the Bar Foundation.
There are tentative plans to formally induct the new fellows at the Bar Foundation’s 33rd Annual Fellows Dinner in spring 2021.
