The third annual Martin Luther King Jr. Living the Dream social justice music, poetry and dance competition organized by the City of Omaha Human Rights and Relations Department will be Monday, broadcast live from the Holland Performing Arts Center.
The City of Omaha and Douglas County will also recognize employees with their annual Martin Luther King Jr. awards during a ceremony Friday, beginning at noon.

There’s a new sheriff in town.

A change in zoning regulations appears to have dissuaded a public power utility from locking up land slated for development in Sarpy County.
